About > Solve-RD

The Health Economics Team of the Economics Laboratory of Dijon (University of Burgundy) is part of the "Solve-RD - solving the unsolved rare diseases" project, which has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 779257. The Solve-RD project is supported by an international consortium led by the University of Tübingen (Germany), the Radboud University of Medicine in Nijmegen (the Netherlands) and the University of Leicester (United Kingdom).

The research conducted in Solve-RD aims to improve the diagnosis of patients with rare diseases through the development of genomic medicine. Solve-RD brings together 27 partners from 10 different countries, from different disciplines and skills (geneticists, clinicians, patient associations, research infrastructure, bioinformaticians, economists, ...), and allows them to work in a research network based on sharing knowledge around rare diseases, genomics, and new care strategies.
